For US customs, the country of origin is generally where the goods were produced, manufactured, or substantially transformed—not the country they were shipped from. • Collect and retain supplier origin statements, production records, bills of materials, invoices, and transport documents that support the claimed origin.
• Check the current official measure text and any product, origin, exemption, certification, or documentation conditions before entry; verify that Kazakhstan is covered under the measure’s precise legal scope.
