Privacy Notice

Effective September 16, 2026. This notice explains the information SkuWatch processes when you use the website or submit an API use case.

Current public calculator

The calculator runs in your browser and its full result is public. It does not ask for or submit an email address. Calculation analytics use only coarse non-personal fields such as HTS length, origin code, transport mode, resolution type, completion state, and layer count; declared values and free-form product text are not sent to analytics.

API demand requests

When you submit the catalog and API form, SkuWatch stores the full name, email, company, and use-case description you provide in a SkuWatch-controlled Cloudflare D1 database. We use it to understand API demand, prioritize product work, and contact you about that request. The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile and short-lived, hashed rate-limit records to reduce automated abuse; raw IP addresses are not stored in the API demand table.

Browser storage

Saving a scenario stores its calculation inputs in your browser. You can remove saved scenarios by clearing them in My SkuWatch or clearing site data for skuwatch.app.

My SkuWatch separately stores a versioned watchlist and saved calculation inputs in your browser. This can include HTS codes, countries of origin, optional nicknames, quantities, prices, costs, entry dates, and calculation assumptions. These records are not uploaded or cloud-synced. Remove individual records in My SkuWatch, use its “Clear all” control, or clear site data for skuwatch.app to delete them from that browser.

Analytics and operational data

SkuWatch uses Google Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate site usage and reliability. Calculator analytics events contain product-level attributes such as HTS code length, origin, transport mode, match type, and number of tariff layers; they do not contain the submitted email address. My SkuWatch interaction events use only coarse action, location, count-bucket, and deduplication fields; they do not include HTS codes, origins, nicknames, prices, scenario contents, local identifiers, dates, email addresses, or URLs.

Retention, sharing, and security

Historical calculator-unlock records captured before September 16, 2026 and current API-demand records remain in separate access-controlled tables and are retained only as long as reasonably needed for their stated purposes. Removing the unlock form did not delete those historical records. We do not sell personal information. Service providers may process data solely to host, secure, analyze, or operate SkuWatch. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your privacy choices

You may use the complete calculator result without submitting an email. To request access, correction, or deletion of an API-demand request or a historical calculator-unlock record, contact service@skuwatch.app. If your request concerns a record you previously submitted, include the email address associated with that record so we can locate it.

Changes

We may update this notice as the product and service providers change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
