Highest additional US tariff, by country
The peak additional ad-valorem duty each country's goods have faced, on top of the normal tariff (on the most-affected products — not every product). China leads via Section 301 duties reaching 100% on some goods (e.g. EVs), which are current. The broad country-by-country "reciprocal" tariffs of 2025-04-05–2026-02-24 have expired.

By type of measure
AD/CVD (anti-dumping / countervailing) orders dominate by count because they accumulate over decades and are product-and-company specific. Section 232/301/IEEPA are fewer but broader in scope. Browse by type →

These are counts of tracked measures, not a trade-weighted average tariff. A count treats a small AD/CVD order and a broad Section 301 action as one measure each, so it reflects activity, not economic impact. A proper trade-weighted average tariff would need import-volume data by product and country, which we do not yet have. Coverage depends on what has been collected from official sources; older records are sparser. Always confirm specifics against the source-linked records.
